Banners add a distinct message or image to your custom theme. This can be a personal motto, a favorite view, or even a pattern that you like. You can even upload a Flash is used to create animation, advertisements and various web-page components. Adobe Flash is the authoring program used to create the animated banner. To add a banner:
In the Add a Banner section, click Add.
Click Browse, locate the banner image or Flash file (.swf) to upload, and click Open.
Click OK. The banner image is displayed.
Click Preview to see your site with the banner.
Click Apply to save your changes.
Note: To ensure that your banner is displayed properly, the dimensions of the image must adhere to the size as specified on the screen. Flash animation will resize automatically to fit the banner.
When adding a banner, make sure the image or Flash file you upload fits the overall look. Each design template has elements that affect the way the banner is displayed. Choose (or customize) your banner to mesh with the design.
Design A: ideal banners present the most important information in the center (with empty space on either end). This accommodates the fade effect on the left and the logo displayed on the right. Design A works best with Flash banners.
Design B: ideal banners use a panoramic image and incorporates approximately 130 pixels of empty space on the left side. This ensures that the agent photo won't overlap key text or imagery.
Design C: ideal banners incorporate either the agent photo or the logo as part of the image. This balances the other key picture (either logo or agent photo) displayed separately on the left. Alternatively, use images (for the logo, photo, and banner) that fit the maximum height and width recommended.
